The Wild Hare collection is based on old folktales about rabbits and full moons. Some stories tell about the wild hares trying to communicate with the rabbit in the moon. I love the idea that the “man in the moon” is actually a rabbit in the moon. Always curious and watchful, “What?” seems to be waiting for an answer. Wouldn’t he make you smile every time you walked into the room and caught a sight of him?
